Before Bill T-B was the Managing Editor of Net Results, he was already a full-time consultant and partner with Bill Easum with 21st Century Strategies (formerly Easum, Bandy & Associates). He cut his teeth in ministry as a church planter with the Southern Baptists and then went on to church transformational work with the United Methodists. Following seminary at Emory University, Atlanta, he was ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and served as a church growth pastor and was invited to co-chair the Region's Evangelism Committee because of the significant growth in his church. Later he served a Presbyterian church in the Mid-West (his wife, Dr. Kris Tenny-Brittian was already serving the Christian Church in town) and co-wrote the SE Kansas Presbytery Evangelism Manual, again because of his experiences in growing the churches he led. He wrapped up his pastoral ministry years after spending eight years with his wife as co-planter of an emerging church in Seattle for the Disciples of Christ. More recently, he and his wife were named the co-presidents of the National Evangelistic Association because of their commitment to evangelism and church growth.
All that's to say that God was busy preparing Bill to serve as a consultant who could work across denominational lines. Over the years as a consultant, coach, and leadership trainer he's helped churches become effective across the theological continuum.
Bill provides a full spectrum of consulting, coaching, and training options suitable for all churches. He also offers a unique service that combines the advantages of consulting with both coaching and training for the congregational leaders. This last service has shown to be especially effective in helping churches move from talking (and too often fussing) about church transformation to effective church growth.
