By submitting an article for publication with Net Results, Inc., the writer accepts and agrees to the following terms:
Writer’s Agreement: This contract is made between Net Results, Inc. whose address is 308 West Blvd. N., Columbia, MO 65203, hereafter referred to as the PUBLISHER, and the WRITER who is submitting an article or column for publication.
The parties agree as follows: The Writer grants permission to include his/her article in Net Results, a serial publication, bearing the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) 0270-4900.
RIGHTS GRANTED: This use of the Work by the Publisher entails the assignment of all rights, for publication anywhere in the world. It is understood and agreed that the Publisher may republish this Work in print and digital versions including, but not limited to, Net Results, in reprints, anthologies, and as handouts for Net Results training events. In addition, the Writer grants permission for Net Results subscribers to photocopy or electronically deliver copies of the Work for use by members of their congregations and/or ministries.
COMPENSATION: The Publisher agrees to provide the Writer with a one year Premium Subscription to Net Results Digital.
WRITER’S WARRANTY AND INDEMNITIES: The Writer represents and warrants that he/she is the sole Writer of the Work, that the Work is original, and that no one has reserved the rights granted in this agreement. The Writer also represents, to the best of his/her knowledge, that the Work does not contain any libelous material. In addition, the Writer represents and warrants that any photographs, drawings, or accompanying support materials are not encumbered to any third party and that the Writer can legally convey all rights to the Publisher.
COMPETING PUBLICATION: The Writer agrees not to publish or permit others to publish this Work in any form prior to its publication and appearance in Net Results.
TEXTUAL CHANGES: The Publisher will make no major alterations to the Work’s text without the Writer’s written approval. The Publisher reserves the right to make changes to conform to the style of the text to its customary form and usage and to change the title as needed to reflect the issue’s theme. In addition, the Publisher reserves the right to resize, recolor, or exclude photographs, drawings, or supporting materials in order to meet editorial needs.
WRITER’S REPRINT RIGHTS: The Writer may reprint, photocopy, or digitally distribute their article for personal use and/or for teaching purposes. The Writer may sell reprint rights to any non-competing periodical or book publisher so long as in doing so, the remaining Net Results’ rights are not infringed upon. In addition, the Writer may sell reprint rights to any competing periodical or book publisher twelve months or more after publication in Net Results so long as in doing so, the remaining Net Results’ rights are not infringed upon.
BYLINE: The Writer will be credited on the table of contents page and on the title page of the story. If the writer wishes to use a pseudonym for their byline, they must indicate this at the time of submission.
